Florida DOR Adopts Regulations on Farm Sales Tax Exempt Agricultural Materials Card, Public Use Forms

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) Jan. 30 adopted regulations on the Farm Tax Exempt Agricultural Materials (TEAM) card and public use forms, for sales and use tax purposes. The rule includes measures: 1) creating a new provision to address eligibility criteria and the application process to obtain the TEAM card; 2) providing guidance regarding the exemption verification process for selling dealers; and 3) amending the application form by which a farmer whose property meets specific requirements can apply to the DOR for the TEAM card beginning Jan. 1.
