The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) announced that effective Jan. 1, 2026, the tax rates on motor and diesel fuel will increase to 22 cents per gallon from 21.5 cents per gallon, while the State Comprehensive Enhanced Transportation System (SCETS) tax rate will increase to 9.9 cents per gallon for motor fuel and to 16.9 cents per gallon for diesel fuel.
