The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) issued a Tax Information Publication announcing the repeal of the state sales tax on commercial rentals effective October 1. However, sales tax will still apply to payments for rental periods through September 2025 as well as transient rentals, parking spaces, boat docks, and aircraft tie-downs. [Fla.
