Florida DOR Partially Proposes Amending Rules on Value Adjustment Board Procedures

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) partially proposed amendments to the rules regarding value adjustment board hearing procedures for property tax purposes. Proposed changes include requiring property appraisers to provide evidence to petitioners at least 15 days before hearings, adding taxpayer rights related to remote hearings, and incorporating criteria for hearings conducted by electronic media.
