Florida DOR Publishes 2024 eServices Calendar of Electronic Payment Deadlines for Sales, Excise Tax Collectors

The Florida Department of Revenue Dec. 1 published its eServices due dates calendar for 2024, listing electronic payment deadlines for municipalities and county officers, for sales and use and excise tax purposes. The calendar provides that a municipality or county officer must remit the state and local discretionary sales tax, motor vehicle warranty fees, documentary stamp tax, nonrecurring intangible personal property tax, and red-light camera penalty collections on a weekly basis, before the specified time on the sixth working day following the close of the week in which they receive the funds.
