Florida DOR Releases Sample Excise Tax Form DR-156R, Renewal Application for Florida Fuel, Pollutants License

The Florida Department of Revenue Jan. 1 released sample Form DR-156R, Renewal Application for Florida Fuel and Pollutants License, for excise tax purposes. Businesses retailing natural gas, wholesalers, importers, exporters, terminal operators, terminal suppliers, carriers, blenders, air carriers, or pollutants license must apply for the renewal. A registration fee isn’t required to obtain the license. Renewal applications received and approved on or before Nov. 30, are processed and mailed before the Dec. 31 expiration.
