The Florida Governor signed a law concerning gaming licensing and permits. The law includes: 1) deleting obsolete language related to daily license fees and tax rates payable on live greyhound racing that is no longer authorized to be conducted in the state; and 2) reenacting provisions of current law with amendments relating to payment of daily license fees and taxes on horse races and jai alai games. [S.B. 804, enacted 04/26/24]
