Florida lawmakers unanimously passed a $1 billion tax package on Friday that features sales tax holidays and permanent sales tax exemptions for family-oriented items.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) welcomed the Legislature’s action and is expected to sign the measure, as it largely goes along with proposals he made in February.
