Georgia Amends Taxation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, Electricity Used as Motor Fuel

The Georgia Governor signed a law amending the taxation of electricity used as motor fuel and electric vehicle charging stations. The law includes: 1) adding a provision to the sales and use tax exemption for special fuels; and 2) amending a provision concerning sales and use tax exemptions for motor fuels.
