Georgia Authorizes Augusta-Richmond County Hotel Lodging Excise Tax

The Georgia Governor signed the Garden City Charm and Tourism Act. The law includes authorizing the governing authority of Augusta-Richmond County to levy a hotel lodgings excise tax not to exceed 8 percent of the charges for accommodations.
