Georgia Creates Savannah Music Commission, Provides Tax Exemption

The Georgia Governor signed the Savannah Music Commission Act. The law includes an exemption that states that the commission shall not be required to pay any taxes or assessments upon any of the property acquired or leased by it or under its jurisdiction, control, possession, or supervision or upon its activities in the operation or any rates, fees, tolls, or other charges for the use of such projects or other income received by the commission.
