The Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR) published an informational bulletin announcing the suspension of Georgia motor fuel excise taxes following the Governor’s signing of H.B. 1199. The suspension is effective from 11:00 AM on March 20 through 11:59 PM on May 19 and applies to all motor fuels subject to Georgia motor fuel excise tax including gasoline, clear diesel, aviation gasoline, liquid propane gas, gasohol, ethanol, liquefied natural gas, and compressed natural gas.
