The Georgia Department of Revenue Dec. 1 published an updated sales and use tax rate chart, effective Jan. 1, 2024. The chart shows the tax rate and type for various jurisdictions as well as the respective jurisdiction codes. Except for the Fulton County Centennial Yards jurisdiction, the state sales tax rate of 4 percent is included in the jurisdiction rates listed in the chart. [Ga.
