Georgia Provides $10,000 Homestead Exemption for West Point

The Georgia signed a law providing a $10,000 homestead exemption from City of West Point ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes. The exemption applies to homesteads of up to five contiguous acres and requires residents to file an application with the city government.
