The Golden State Warriors basketball team settled a proposed ADA class action alleging its website discriminates against visually impaired users.
The Warriors filed a notice of settlement Sept. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Counsel for the plaintiffs told Bloomberg Law the terms of the agreement are confidential.
Named plaintiff Kyo Hak Chu alleges she is denied “full and equal access” to the Warriors’ website as a visually impaired person and that the website is a store that constitutes a place of public accommodation.
