Google Expands Oklahoma Data Center with $600 Million Investment

Google Inc. plans to spend an additional $600 million to expand its data center outside Tulsa, Okla., where the company says it has already spent $2.5 billion and created 400 jobs.

The Pryor, Okla.-based center “is part of the engine that makes it possible for Google to help billions of people around the world,” company CEO Sundar Pichai said in a June 13 statement.
