Hawaii Tax Department Announces Certain Mandatory E-Filing of Forms W-2, HW-2

The Hawaii Department of Taxation announced that employers are required to electronically file Form W-2 or Form HW-2 where: 1) an employer is required to file 10 or more Forms W-2 and/or HW-2 in a calendar year; or 2) an employer’s annual withholding tax liability exceeds $40,000.
