The Hawaii Department of Taxation has announced a new real property tax payment option for property owners in Honolulu. Starting January 20, residents will receive their property tax bills in the mail, and they will now have the option to pay by credit card. Additionally, beginning in July 2026, cash payments will no longer be accepted. Property owners will only be able to make payments using credit cards or checks. [Haw.
