The Idaho State Tax Commission Oct. 20 issued information on tax relief granted to victims of Hurricane Ian, for individual income, corporate income, trust income, sales and use, and excise tax purposes. The commission provides that: 1) the deadlines to file and pay taxes for taxpayers affected by Hurricane Ian are extended until Feb. 15, 2023, including the Oct. 17 deadline to file extended returns; 2) interest will continue to accrue on any income tax that is paid after April 18, the original income tax due date for Idaho; 3) affected taxpayers should write “HURRICANE IAN” at the top of ...
