Illinois DCEO Adopts Quantum Computing Campus Program Regulations

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) adopted regulations establishing the Quantum Computing Campus Program. The regulations create a framework for designating quantum computing campuses and certifying campus tenants for state tax exemptions, including sales tax exemptions on building materials and excise tax exemptions on electric, gas, and telecommunication utilities.
