The Illinois Department of Revenue June 1 published revised individual income tax information on retirement income to provide updated office addresses across the state and contact information. The publication includes information on: 1) retirement income that can be subtracted from federal adjusted gross income when completing Form IL-1040, Individual Income Tax Return; 2) federally taxed income that can’t be subtracted; and 3) required attachments to Form IL-1040 for taxpayers who subtract retirement income.
