Illinois DOR Publishes Revised Schedule CR Equivalency Chart for Individual Income Tax Filers

The Illinois Department of Revenue (DOR) Feb. 1 published a revised Schedule CR equivalency chart for individual income tax purposes. The chart provides form numbers for each state and the tax amount to include on Line 51 of Schedule CR to calculate the credit for tax paid to other states. The DOR compiled the information from the 2023 tax return forms posted to each state’s website. The DOR makes no warranties on the accuracy of the source material and advises taxpayers to consult each state for specific details and updates. [Ill.
