Illinois DOR Publishes Sales, Excise Tax Bulletin on Form Changes for New Motor Fuel Classifications

The Illinois Department of Revenue (DOR) Dec. 1 published an informational bulletin on certain forms, for sales and use and excise tax purposes. The bulletin includes information on changes to Form ST-1, Sales and Use Tax and E911 Surcharge Return, Form PST-1, Prepaid Sales Tax Return, and Form PST-2, Prepaid Sales Tax Statement of Tax Paid, for new motor fuel classifications, effective Jan. 1, 2024. The revised forms must be used beginning with the January 2024 reporting period.
