Illinois DOR Releases Form RUT-25-LSE-X, Amended Use Tax Return for Lease Transactions

The Illinois Department of Revenue Jan. 1 released Form RUT-25-LSE-X, Amended Use Tax Return for Lease Transactions, for sales and use tax purposes. Taxpayers must use the form to report the use tax due on a motor vehicle, watercraft, aircraft, trailer, mobile home, snowmobile, or all-terrain vehicle that was leased through an unregistered out-of-state dealer or retailer and that is required to be titled or registered in Illinois.
