Illinois DOR Releases Process for Obtaining Extension for Business Income Tax

The Illinois Department of Revenue (DOR) Aug. 1 released the process for obtaining an extension for business income tax. The DOR states that an automatic extension to file is granted based on return type and due date. It does not extend the time to pay any tax owed.
