Illinois DOR Releases Sales, Excise Tax Form RUT-25-X, Amended Vehicle Use Tax Transaction Return

The Illinois Department of Revenue Feb. 1 released Form RUT-25-X, Amended Vehicle Use Tax Transaction Return, for sales and use and excise tax purposes. The form requires taxpayers to: 1) identify the return being amended and the purchaser; 2) mark the reason for filing the amended return; 3) correct their financial information; and 4) sign and date the form.
