Indiana Discusses Special Services to Support Needs of Tax Practitioners

The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) published information on the special services it provides to support the needs of the tax practitioner community. The DOR’s services include: 1) a tax practitioner hotline for individual and business inquiries; 2) a credit tax practitioner hotline providing escalated service for client liabilities like warrants, levies, and garnishments; 3) Taxpayer Advocate Office staff to assist with specific issues including hardships, offer in compromise, military, and warrant expungements; 4) in person service at 12 locations; and 5) online support and guidance.
