Indiana DOR Issues Decision on Corporate Income Tax Dispute

The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) May 31 issued a decision on a corporate income tax dispute for the tax year 2019. The taxpayer is a company doing business in Indiana, which periodically files an Indiana Corporate Income Tax Return (Form IT-20), reporting its income subject to Indiana income tax. In 2020, the taxpayer filed its 2019 return. The DOR reviewed and adjusted the taxpayer’s filing. As a result, the taxpayer was assessed additional tax, interest, and penalty, totaling approximately $20,000. Taxpayer protested.
