Indiana DOR Issues Information on Free Tax Filing Program

The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) Feb. 1 issued information on its free-file program. Taxpayers with an adjusted gross income of $66,000 or less in 2018 may be eligible to file both state and federal individual income taxes at no cost with the program. The DOR discussed benefits including: 1) faster refunds; 2) confirmation on the return received and accepted; 3) access at any time, day or night; 4) ease of use; and 5) fewer errors. [Ind.
