Indiana DOR Issues Information Regarding Individual Income Tax Filing Extension Deadline

The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) Nov. 10 issued information that the extension deadline for individual income taxes will arrive in less than one week. The DOR reminds taxpayers who filed for an extension to have their return filed and submitted by Nov. 16. An extension gives taxpayers more time to file but not more time to pay. This may mean taxpayers have a penalty to pay along with their bill.
