Indiana Issues Notices to Taxpayers With Outstanding Tax Liabilities

The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) explained that, beginning June 25, it will issue notices to taxpayers with outstanding debt from the 2018 tax season. The notices will arrive via the postal service and taxpayers should not ignore them. The DOR also warned taxpayers about requests via telephone, e-mail, or social media, since it will not attempt to collect payments through any medium other than U.S. mail.
