The Iowa Department of Revenue (DOR) Nov. 4 announced the issuance of new individual income and corporate income tax withholding tables for 2020 to better align with recent changes in state tax laws. Beginning Jan. 1, 2020, employers will reduce the amount of Iowa tax withheld from employees’ paychecks. The DOR updated an online Withholding Calculator to help individuals calculate 2020 withholding amounts. Employers will update withholding amounts, but employees can make changes to their Iowa W-4 withholding form by contacting their employer.
