The Iowa Department of Revenue (DOR) proposed amendments to regulations on administration of marijuana and controlled substance stamp tax. The proposed amendments readopt and move the rules on the administration of the excise tax on marijuana and controlled substance stamp tax into chapter 240, and revises the text of the rules for better organization and clarification. The proposed rule removes portions of the rules that DOR determined are unnecessary, obsolete, or duplicative of statutory language.
