Japan Parliament Passes Bills to Ratify DTAs, Protocols With Ukraine, Armenia

The Japanese Parliament April 23 passed Bill Nos. 1 and 3, to ratify the DTAs and protocols with: 1) Ukraine, signed Feb. 19, 2024; and 2) Armenia, signed Dec. 26, 2024, which will replace the 1986 DTA and protocol between Japan and the Soviet Union, as it applies to Armenia.
