The Kansas Governor April 9 signed a law concerning property tax and vehicles that Sedgwick County removes as a nuisance. The law includes measures: 1) providing taxpayers whose motor vehicle Sedgwick County removed from private property as a nuisance a refund of ad valorem property tax paid on the vehicle; and 2) applying related abatement costs assessed to the tax roll of the county against the private lot or parcel.
