Kentucky will legalize and tax sports betting starting at the end of June after Gov. Andy Beshear signed a bill.
The measure, HB 551, establishes a new 9.75% excise tax on the adjusted gross revenues on wagers made at a licensed facility and a 14.25% tax on wagers placed online or on a smartphone.
