The Kentucky General Assembly voted to override the Governor’s veto to enact a law concerning elections. The law includes amending Kentucky Revised Statutes section 132.017, on changing the time period for submitting questions concerning raising property tax rates to voters in a common school election, from not less than 35 nor more than 45 days, to not less than 50 nor more than 60 days, from the date the signatures on the petition are validated.
