The American Bar Association tax section is planning to expand tax preparation services for military personnel that could start as soon as the 2020 filing season.
Sheri Dillon, vice chair of the section’s pro bono and outreach committee, made the announcement during the fall meeting in San Francisco on Oct. 5. The tax section is planning two pilot programs, said Dillon, a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP.
