The Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections (DPS) adopted amendments to the rule regarding the electric and hybrid vehicle road usage fee for excise tax purposes. The rule updates the process for paying the annual road usage fee required by R.S. 32:461, moving payment from the Department of Revenue to the Office of Motor Vehicles.
