The Louisiana Governor signed a law to amend laws related to ad valorem taxes on bank stock. The law increases the percentage of assessed value of certain property deducted, for assessment purposes, from 50 percent to 100 percent. The law takes effect Jan. 1, 2026. [S.B. 82, enacted 06/08/25]
