Maine Revenue Services announced the interest rates for calendar year 2024 and 2025 applicable to overpayments and underpayments of taxes. From Jan 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2025, the annual rate is 10 percent and the daily rate is 0.027397 percent. The interest rates do not apply to municipal property taxes or to property taxes in unorganized territories.
