Maine Revenue Services Releases Estate Tax Return Form, Instructions

Maine Revenue Services July 1 released Form 706ME, Maine Estate Tax Return, with instructions for estates of decedents dying during the calendar year 2019. The form must be filed if a federal estate tax return is required to be filed or the adjusted federal gross estate exceeds $5.7 million. The return is due nine months after the date of death. [Me.
