Maryland Authorizes Baltimore City Property Tax on Certain Vacant Lots, Unfit Property

The Maryland Governor signed a law concerning property taxation. The law includes authorizing Baltimore City to impose the general property tax rate and a special property tax rate on a vacant lot or property cited as vacant and unfit for use that would otherwise by exempt, subject to certain exceptions.
