The Maryland Comptroller March 17 announced an extension of the individual income and corporate income tax deadline to July 15. No interest or penalty for late payments will be imposed if 2019 tax payments are made by July 15. Taxpayers who take advantage of the federal extension to file their return will continue to be automatically granted an extension on their Maryland tax filings. No additional extension forms are required. Fiscal year filers with tax years ending Jan. 1 through March 31 are also eligible for the July 15 extension. [Md.
