Maryland Expands Homeowner Protections in Property Tax Sales

The Maryland Governor enacted a law to expand homeowner protections in tax sales by requiring counties to withhold from sale the dwellings of homeowners with a documented terminal illness or medical hardship and allowing homeowners to designate representatives to work with the Tax Sale Ombudsman.
