The Massachusetts Department of Revenue March 18 published information on the benefits of electronically filing individual income tax returns. The benefits include faster refunds, and a safe and secure process. Calculations are done for taxpayers who file electronically. Most taxpayers qualify to electronically file for free through commercially-available software. Taxpayers can file for free using Massachusetts Fillable Forms. The filing deadline is April 17. [Mass.
