Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) is rejuvenating a plan to legalize sports betting in the state, which he estimates would deliver $35 million in revenue after July, he said Wednesday.
Baker announced the sports betting plan as he delivered a $45.6 billion fiscal year 2022 budget proposal to the legislature, a budget that reflects the economic hit of the pandemic and is about 0.7% less than expected fiscal year 2021 spending, he said.
