Massachusetts lawmakers ended their session agreeing to tax sports betting but were unable to compromise on a broad economic development package that included one-time rebates and other tax relief.
The proposal would have made changes to the state tax code and sent rebates of $250 for individuals and $500 for married filing jointly.
