Menstrual and Family-Oriented Products to Be Tax-Free in Texas

Texas will exempt menstrual products and family-oriented items such as diapers and baby wipes from sales tax under a bill signed by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) .

Items such as diapers for adults and children, breast milk pumping products, baby bottles, and maternity clothes will be tax-free. Menstrual products eligible include tampons, menstrual cups, and pads.
