Michigan Treasury Issues Guidance for Taxpayers to Update Addresses Before 2022 Income Tax Filing Season

The Michigan Department of Treasury Dec. 21 issued guidance for taxpayers to update their addresses before the 2022 individual income tax filing season. The treasury encourages taxpayers to check with current and previous employers and financial institutions to ensure they have up-to-date addresses on file so that their W-2s and other financial documents are mailed to the correct address.
